Thank you for visiting my page! Although I will not be able to attend the CPC this year, I am participating in fundraising for the program where I am a Supervisor as a "virtual fundraiser". I recently celebrated my sixth anniversary with YAI and can say first hand, that YAI provides innovative, unique, and comprehensive supports to people living with differing abilities. Please consider making a donation to my page, or our team page Brooklyn Day Stars, a donation of any size makes a tremendous difference in the lives of the people we support each day.
For nearly 60 years, YAI has been helping children and adults with autism, Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities achieve their fullest life possible by creating new opportunities for living, loving, working and learning. YAI’s comprehensive services support thousands of people every day. YAI offers residential programs, employment training, day services, opportunities for recreation and socialization, and a variety of supports that empower people with disabilities and their families. Funds raised through the 2017 CPC enable YAI to change lives.
On Saturday, June 3rd, thousands of participants will join together for the 2017 YAI & Broadview Networks Central Park Challenge, a road race that raises funds and awareness for individuals with developmental disabilities. There is something for everyone! A 4-Mile Run, 3K Walk, Children’s Races for Kids of all Ages and Abilities, Children’s Activity Area, Live Music, Refreshments and more! It’s a great opportunity to lace up your sneakers and soak up the iconic NYC Central Park while supporting YAI Network’s programs and mission.
